HOSi is an agribusiness startup that promotes pest control with an innovative product line based on boosting sanity by introducing precisely though of living organisms, rather than pushing for sterility — in the words of the founders, their approach was akin to a sniper rifle, as opposed to the tradition atom bomb approach of tradition pesticides.

The challenge presented was, then, how to symbolize this different approach, carefully avoiding hippie clichés of organic farming while at the same time managing to present the company as a serious results-based business — the results their products achieved, they claimed, were equal to or better than the competition.


The visual solution is structured on this living organism approach, the name of the company (an acronym for hydrogen, oxygen and silicon) drawn as if made of organic forms seen through a microscope, and this carries on to the applications.
